Pill & Time

Does anyone know anything about switching the time for taking birth control? I'm finding that the time that I chose 4 months ago (7pm) is really inconvenient. Usually I forget and then remember sometime during the night, or else I'm busy/away from home at that time and take them when I get home. I always remember to take them, but never right at 7pm.

So I wanna switch the time, but I don't know how one does this. I'd prefer to do it without having to use a back-up method either, but if that can happen it'll be just icing on the cake (so to speak).

Tips/advice/suggestions?

PS: oh, and while we're kinda on the topic of reproduction, I read a few infertility blogs, and, for the life of me, can't figure out what they're referring to when they're using all those acronyms. Is anyone versed in infertility-jargon that can help me out? pretty please?

O = ovulation

I don't really know what specifics you were looking for (of course there are a ton more), but there are some basics.

I don't know what to tell you about changing times. I was never good at taking it at the same time everyday. I don't think I ever took it at the same time. :P

Okay, I had a huge list for you and I must have deleted it somehow. :P

But hey, at least I got ovulation! :)

I will write another one! Just a sec.

oh, kamie, thank you. I was reading an infertility blog today and COULD NOT even begin to figure out what TTC stood for....and what makes it worse is that in Toronto, guess what the public transit system is called?

Yeah.

TTC.

Sorry I dont think I can be of any help with your pill changing thing. Maybe have a chat to your practise nurse or doctor about it? It's not something you wanna stuff up huh?!?!

Perhaps you could wait until your next period and change during that week to the time to what you want it. It isnt actually important to take the white pills coz they are just sugar pills (ie I had to throw those out and just take nothing for the week coz I cant take sugar pills). Since technically, you arent actually taking any hormones that week, surely adjusting the time during that week wouldnt do any harm?

Aside from the fab list Kamie gave you, I only know one that applies to me: PCOS=polycystic ovaries.
