Not allowed to quit.

So it looks like I'm going back to school this semester (neveryoumind that the semester started 2 weeks ago!).

Just one course, though, to kind of get me back into the administrative's "Good Books". I still have to find a full-time job to live off of; my mother is covering the cost of my course. If I do well this semester, the option to go back full-time in January is on the table (assuming, of course, financials work out).

So that's a good thing. Even if its just one credit, it's one credit closer to the goal of graduating, and (way!) sooner than I thought I could start working on it again.

Even though my mother can be batshit insane, there's something to be said for her not allowing me to quit.

Woohoo! Good for you!

Yay how exciting!!! How soon can you get your books and get into classes?

Mandy - Thanks!

Heather - as soon as I register. Mom still is pulling the puppet strings and saying that I don't get the money if I don't go to Therapy and persue my referral to the Eating Disorder Clinic (did you know I had an ED? ME NEITHER!)
She says I have 2 days to come up with a "specific plan" yadda yadda. Excuse me, gotta go jump through some more fiery hoops of hell.
(Once I'm registered, I start next class, so if I get registered before Thursday then my first class is Thursday).

I remember I wanted to take a year off between my sophomore and junior years and then again between my junior and senior years, but my parents would not have it. They pushed me and made me go, telling me that I should just get it over with and that I would be glad I did. They were damn right! Sounds like your mom has got the right idea as well. Tough it out, get it done, it will be worth it.
