Busy bee

So far today I've picked up another months supply of birth control, did a 65$ shop which was purely cleaning supplies, booked a doctors appointment for the 4th of March, checked the mail, thrown in a load of laundry with another one waiting, put away the dishes and did another 2 loads, cleaned the stovetop, scrubbed the kitchen countertops, taken out countless bags of garbage, swept the living room, my room and the foyer (each) thrice, cleaned out the fridge, changed the kitty litter, picked up in the living room, cleaned my room and applied for a bursary.

Not bad for only being up since 9am!

I still have to do all the floors with the Swiffer, finish the laundry, clean out behind the kitchen garbage, organize all the plastic grocery bags, wipe down all the kitchen cupboards, put away the dishes I just did, clean the entire bathroom and throw out my old printer and monitor. I'm sure I'll find something else that has to be done along the way.

ooooh, is that chocolate? Why yes, it is. I dare think I deserve some...

PS: My back is killing me.

Wow. O.o Thats a lot. It reminds me of what would happen if I went on one of my cleaning frenzies and had a lot out of place. The messiest place in my house is my room. Everything else is pretty much clean...ish.

Good job though! And yes, you deserve chocolate!

You have to get your birth control monthly? We always get three months at a time here and in NZ, I dont think you get a choice.

That's a lot of work, you should do the rest later and relax for a while!

We have the option of getting 1 for 9$ or 3 for 25$ - and I'm approved for a year so if I had the funds I could just purchase a full year at once. For me right now it's easier to find the 9$ than the 25$, thats why I get it monthly....

and I've been taking mini breaks all day - basically I clean hardcore for 30 to 45 min and then take a half hour break or so; my back and shoulder will seize up if I don't...

Busy, busy! Doesn't it feel great to accomplish so much? I love that feeling. (Apparently not enough to clean and accomplish a lot every day! Ha ha!)

Good Job!

lol well there was 4 reasons for going on such a cleaning frenzy: 1) I finally had money to buy supplies, 2) the baby is coming over tomorrow and I can't have her crawling around a dirty place, 3) I move in about 8 days, and 4)they're coming to inspect the apartment next Wednesday - so I figured if I did the bulk of the cleaning now, it would be less stress on me when I'm trying to pack everything up. One can only hope, right?

Lol, and yes Kamie, its great to get everything clean and pretty again - I had forgotten exactly how white my front foyer floor can be, or how bright my bathroom is when its all shiny! lol.

although I did ask K.02 if I could take a break from cleaning when I leave here - I've been cleaning all by myself (for two people and a dog!) nonstop for 2 months. I just need a break for a week or two. UGH.
